Dan's Platforms
Government Transparency
As a member of the Frisco City Council you can count on me to ensure that our local government will continue to take appropriate action, consistent with law and policy, to disclose information rapidly in forms that the public can readily find and use.
City Budget
Our city is growing, so will our budget. We need to make sure that our spending reflects what is in the best interest of the citizens and eliminate unnecessary expenditures. Our city is highly attractive to businesses so our City Council should be diligent in the incentives that it offers to corporations that wish to relocate and do business in Frisco.
Intelligent Spending Initiative (ISI)
More importantly each contract needs to be looked at without bias and awarded to the bidder who meets the Lowest Qualified Bidder. Once implemented, the (ISI) will decrease spending and help lower taxes.
Public Safety
As our city grows we need to be vigilant and make sure these departments are staffed and managed by the very best people so they can continue to provide the very best in Public Safety for Frisco.
Infrastructure
It is imperative that we prepare our city for the future. The city also needs to ensure that our citizens continue to receive the quality services from the city that they are used to receiving. The city must work closely with our service providers to ensure continued quality service and that we are also prepared for our continued growth.

Smart City Technology
This includes utilizing Smart Energy Management and Street Lighting (Lowers City Expenditures) and includes Integrating Surveillance, Sensors and Networked Devices to increase safety (Lowers Crime). Smart City
Technology also includes social applications which allow citizens to adopt common areas, trash receptacle, parking lots and other public spaces where they can help pick up trash and keep the area tidy. (Lowers City Expenditures-Builds Community Involvement).

Change begins with action
Frisco is growing and has a lot of exciting things happening that make us a unique place to work and live. Dan promises to vote against high density urban development as well as urban living units next to existing neighborhoods. However, he is not anti-apartment and will work with developers and citizens to make sure future development benefits everyone.
For the medium and long term, Dan wants to start planning now for changes in how Frisco funds our economic development to ensure that we keep taxes low now and in the future. He supports economic development yet feels that everyone should benefit from the growth and excitement that new developments such as the PGA and Star bring.
